VAZA Terms of Service

1. What VAZA Is

VAZA is a global opinion marketplace where people participate in real-world debates by selecting a side. Users may participate through:

• Free votes, and/or
• Supported votes, where users contribute money behind their pick.

VAZA is not a prediction product and does not require you to foresee future events. Outcomes reflect what the community believes at the time the poll ends.

2. Eligibility

To use VAZA, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old, and
• Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in your country.

You may not use VAZA if you are prohibited by law from doing so. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform is lawful where you are located.

3. Account Registration & Security

To access key features, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You agree that:

• You will keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity on your account.
• You will not allow others to access your account.
• You will notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. One Account Per Person (No Multi-Accounting)

You may maintain only one VAZA account. Creating or using multiple accounts to influence outcomes, access rewards, or gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.

If we detect or reasonably suspect multi-accounting or coordinated manipulation, we may:

• Pause your activity (see Section 5),
• Remove votes or support tied to unfair behavior,
• Withhold or reverse rewards tied to manipulation, and/or
• Permanently ban you from VAZA.

5. Paused Accounts / Restricted Activity

We may place an account in a "Paused" or restricted state if needed for integrity, compliance, or safety. While paused, a user may still:

• Log in,
• View polls,
• Withdraw eligible funds (if supported in their region).

But they may not:

• Support with money,
• Deposit funds,
• Participate in paid voting,
• Take actions that affect poll outcomes.

Paused status is temporary unless a more serious violation occurs.

6. How Poll Outcomes Work

All polls resolve when their timer ends. Outcomes are decided by VAZA's Weighted Sentiment Algorithm, which combines:

• Consensus = total votes (including free votes), and
• Conviction = supported votes (paid votes).

Free votes matter — they shape every result. Supported votes add additional weight.

Important: All votes and support are final once submitted. You cannot change, withdraw, or cancel your vote or support after it has been placed.

7. Rewards, Balances & Platform Fees

If your selected option wins:

• You earn a proportional share of the losing side's support pool, based on your contribution and the final weighted outcome.
• Rewards are automatically added to your VAZA balance.

If your side loses:

• Your support is contributed to the pool and distributed to winning participants.

Platform Fees: VAZA may charge a platform fee from handled support pools, withdrawals, or other monetized features. Fees are disclosed in-app at time of participation and may change over time.

8. Deposits, Withdrawals & Identity Verification

VAZA uses Stripe as its payment processor and payout partner. To support or withdraw funds, users may need to complete Stripe onboarding, which can include identity and bank verification.

You agree that:

• Stripe may request personal information or documents for verification.
• Withdrawals may take 7–14 business days once approved, depending on Stripe and your bank.
• All balances and payouts are processed in USD, and your bank may apply conversion rates or fees.

9. Global Availability & Supported Payout Regions

VAZA allows users worldwide to sign up and participate in free voting.

However, supporting and withdrawals are only available in countries where Stripe Connect cross-border payouts are available.

If your country is not supported for payouts by Stripe Connect:

• You may still use VAZA for free voting,
• You should not deposit or support until it is available in your region.

10. No Liability for Unsupported Regions / VPN Use

You are responsible for using VAZA from a region that supports payouts if you support with money.

VAZA is not liable for funds supported or held in accounts where users:

• Deposit from a country not supported for payouts,
• Use a VPN or other method to appear in a supported region, or
• Provide inaccurate location or identity information.

If we detect use from an unsupported region, we may restrict support access and limit accounts to free voting to protect users.

11. Prohibited Communication & External Coordination

VAZA is a self-contained platform where all poll-related discussions and coordination must occur within the VAZA ecosystem.

The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account deletion:

• Sharing or soliciting contact information (including but not limited to email addresses, phone numbers, social media handles, messaging app usernames)
• Attempting to coordinate poll outcomes outside of VAZA through external platforms
• Posting links or references to external communication channels (Discord servers, Telegram groups, WhatsApp groups, etc.)
• Using the @ symbol or any variation to share usernames from other platforms
• Attempting to circumvent our communication filters through obfuscation, spacing, or character substitution
• Soliciting or encouraging users to communicate outside of VAZA for any reason

Zero Tolerance Policy: Any attempt to share contact information or coordinate outside of VAZA will result in immediate and permanent account deletion without warning. All associated funds may be forfeited.

12. Acceptable Use

In addition to the communication restrictions above, you agree not to:

• Violate any law or regulation through VAZA,
• Attempt to manipulate poll outcomes (including multi-accounting),
• Access or probe the Platform's systems without authorization,
• Interfere with the Platform's security or integrity,
• Use automation or scripts to vote or support,
• Engage in harassment, threats, or abusive behavior toward others or our team.

13. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, software, designs, visuals, and original content on VAZA are owned by VAZA or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any part of the Platform without our prior written permission.

14. Public Figures, Names & Likenesses

VAZA facilitates public discussion and fan opinions on athletes, artists, entertainers, and other public figures. All names, likenesses, and images that appear on the Platform are used solely for editorial, commentary, informational, or educational purposes.

VAZA is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or representing any of the individuals mentioned or depicted. All trademarks, publicity rights, and intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

If any rights holder believes content has been used inappropriately, they may contact VAZA at support@vazainc.com for prompt review and removal.

15. Disclaimers

VAZA is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that:

• polls will be available at all times,
• outcomes will align with any individual user's expectations,
• the Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Polls are community-driven and outcomes reflect aggregate sentiment, not objective facts.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VAZA will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or lost earnings resulting from your use of the Platform.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VAZA and its affiliates, directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• your use of the Platform,
• your breach of these Terms, or
• your violation of any law or third-party rights.

18. Termination

We may suspend, pause, or terminate your account at any time if we believe you violated these Terms or pose risk to Platform integrity. Termination may include forfeiture of access to features, and/or reversal of rewards linked to violations.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. If changes are material, we will notify users through the Platform. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
